Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company Limited (GESCOM) has invited online applications for the posts of Assistant Engineers, Assistant Accounts Officers and Junior Engineer Posts as per GESCOM recruitment 2015 notification.

VACANCY DETAILS: 71 Posts

1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 50 posts
   
   1. Educational Qualification: Candidates possess/acquire BE of a recognized University or AMIE(India) Qualification in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
2. Assistant Engineer (Ele): 6 posts
   
   1. Educational Qualification: Candidates possess/acquire BE of a recognized University or AMIE(India) Qualification in Computer Science/Information Science /Information Technology Engineering
3. Assistant Engineer (Ele) : 6 posts
   1. Educational Qualification: Candidates possess/acquire BE of a recognized University or AMIE(India) Qualification in Electronics and Telecommunication / Electronics communication Engineering
4. Assistant Engineer (Civil):  01 Post
   1. Educational Qualification: Candidates possess/acquire BE of a recognized University or AMIE (India) in Civil Engineering
5. Assistant Accounts Officer : 3 Posts
   1. Educational Qualification: Candidates passed M.Com Graduate of a recognized University or passed in ICWA/MBA(Finance)
6. Junior Engineer (Electrical): 5 posts
   1. Educational Qualification: Candidates passed Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering of a Polytechnic of the State of Karnataka or Equivalent Qualification.

PAY SCALE:

1. Assistant Engineer (Ele/Civil) in the pay scale of Rs.18380 – 510 – 18890- 570-20600- 620-23080- 700-25180- 760-28220- 850-30770- 920-32610.
2. Assistant Accounts Officer in the pay scale of Rs.18380-510- 18890-570- 20600-620- 23080-700- 25180-760- 28220-850- 30770-920- 32610.
3. Junior Engineer (Ele) in the pay scale of Rs. 11750-360- 13910-420- 16850-510- 18890-570- 20600-620- 23080-700- 25180-760- 28220- 850-29070.

AGE LIMITS:

1. The Candidates should have attained the age of 18 years AS ON THE LAST DATE FIXED FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION and shall not be more than;
   1. 35 Years in case of General Merit candidates.
   2. 38 Years in case of category IIA, IIB, IIIA & IIIB candidates.
   3. 40 Years in case of SC/ST and category I candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Recruitment to those posts shall be made PURELY ON THE BASIS OF THE MARKS SECURED IN THE APTITUDE TEST, duly following Roster Reservation Policy of Government of Karnataka.

APPLICATION FEE:

The application fees prescribed for applying to the posts is as follows:

• Rs. 2000/-(Rupees Two Thousand Only)  – General Category and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
• Rs. 1000/-(Rupees One Thousand Only) – SC/ST category.
